WU welcomes over 2,800 international guests to the CEMS Annual Events

27/11/2019

CEMS – The Global Alliance in Management Education is one of the most important alliances of internationally leading business schools and multinational companies. WU is a member of this network and is Austria’s exclusive provider of the CEMS Master in International Management program, which trains tomorrow’s executives. The CEMS Annual Events are the highlight of the CEMS year, bringing the entire international CEMS community together to exchange ideas and network. WU is hosting the 31st Annual Events this year and will be welcoming around 2,800 guests to Vienna and Campus WU from November 27 to December 1, 2019. In addition to a number of meetings and networking events, WU will also be hosting the 2019 Graduation Ceremony for 820 international CEMS students.

Each year, the international CEMS community meets in a different university city to exchange views on international management education, socialize, and celebrate the successes of the past year with the graduating class. “As one of Europe’s largest business universities with a strong focus on internationality, we are very proud to be hosting the CEMS Annual Events again after 30 years. Over a period of five days, WU will be organizing a whole series of different events. In total, we will be welcoming around 2,800 guests, coming to Vienna from renowned international universities, NGOs, and Corporate Partners. This is quite challenging, but it’s a challenge we are happy to face,” says WU Rector Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger.
