Flavia-Elvira Bogorin works as researcher at the Competence Center for Nonprofit Organizations and Social Entrepreneurship of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). She has started her research activity at the competence center already during her studies. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna, she graduated with honors from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) with a Master’s degree in Socioeconomics. Her Master thesis tackled the reconciliation between volunteer work and paid work illustrated by way of the emergency rescue service of the Upper Austrian Red Cross.
Flavia-Elvira Bogorin works primarily in the area of “impact analysis” at the NPO & SE Competence Center and participates in impact assessments, evaluations and scientific monitorings of NPOs, social businesses as well as projects and programs. Her main research interests lie in the fields of youth and family, health promotion, prevention, elderly care, homelessness as well as volunteering and civil society.
