As a further research focus he deals with associations and their geographical distribution and relevance as historical and contemprary actors in Austrian society.

Dominik Karner obtained his Bachelor’s degree in “Business, Economics and Social Sciences” as well as his Master’s degree in “Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy” from WU Wien. Furthermore he has gained international research experience at TU Berlin and the University of California in Irvine.
