Referencing literature more easily with reference management programs

Are you currently working on your seminar paper or thesis? The books and essays are piling up on your desk and electronically? You are losing track of the literature? A reference management program can help you keep things in order.

In the workshops of the WU Library, you will learn

  • how to systematically collect research literature, information, notes and documents,

  • how to recognize the difference between publication types (monograph, book chapter, journal article, etc.) and how to cite them correctly,

  • how to automatically save literature references from databases and library catalogs,

  • how to meaningfully structure and tag entries, texts and images,

  • how to automatically create references and the bibliography for you papers.

With questions about reference management, you can also visit our search_bar for on-the-spot support, no appointment necessary.
