Thomas is a research and teaching associate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His dissertation is on organizational unlearning, which is commonly referred to as discarding knowledge structures from the organizational memory. Thomas is particularly interested in the question of how processes of unlearning can be facilitated.
Prior to his PhD-studies, Thomas obtained his Master’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Vienna and University of Zagreb where his main interests were in radical constructivism and (experimental) neuroscience. Thomas received his Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Brand Management from Staffordshire University, UK.
Within his doctoral studies, Thomas was a visiting researcher at Queensland University of Technology (Australia), Lancaster University (UK), University of Palermo (Italy) and University of Liechtenstein. Apart from his research activities, he worked for advertising agencies in Belgrade, Vienna, London and Zagreb. He is a co-founder of the honey company ‚Mein Honig‘
