Doctoral Seminar at the IOD
We were very pleased to welcome guests from Passau and Dortmund to our doctoral seminar!
We had two very exciting and highly informative days at our doctoral seminar here at the IOD. Prae Docs from the chair of Prof. Carolin Häussler, Prof. Andreas König and Prof. Lorenz Graf-Vlachy as well as from our institute presented their current research and we had many exciting discussions.

We had the pleasure of hosting Stevo Pavićević, Assistant Professor at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Stevo presented his research on "A Dyadic Interactionist Perspective on CEO Turnover in Acquisitions" and the IOD team discussed their research projects with him.

Dr. Susann Fiedler, Head of the Research group on Cognitive Processes Underlying Economic Decision Making (funded by the Max Planck Society and the Gielen-Leyendecker Foundation).

Prof. Lunnan visited the IOD in November 2018. She held a research seminar with the title "Keeping up with the current: Identifying key elements of integration capabilities in serial acquirers”". Prof. Kiley visited the IOD in October 2018. He held a workshop on Machine learning and semantic text analysis. Additionally, Prof. Kiley consulted PhD-students on their research projects.

Prof. Lavie visited the IOD in April 2018. He held a research seminar with the title "What drives exploration? Convergence of exploration tendencies among alliance partners and competitors". Additionally, Prof. Lavie worked on a joint research project with Prof. Klarner and discussed academic career-related questions with the IOD PhD-students.
