Why is it not currently possible for me to enroll in all courses I want to attend this semester?
There will be a second enrollment phase for course 3 and 4. We highly recommend that you complete course 1 (and 2) before attending course 3 (and 4). The same holds for the project course with recommended completion of 1 and 2 as well as completion or simultaneous enrollment in 3 and 4.

Can I prepare for the entry exam?
The entry exam will be testing logical and quantitative skills, therefore there is no book or script you have to read as preparation.
When is the entry exam for the winter term 2021/22?
The entry test will be held on August 31st, 2021 from 1pm to 3:30pm at Audimax.
Will I be informed about my performance in the entry exam?
Once the entry test is completed, it will be evaluated by IMS. (Please note that the overall evaluation process might take several days.) As soon as the results are in, every nominee will receive an e-mail from IMS. This e-mail contains whether you are accepted directly to the SBWL or placed on the waiting list. It may contain information about your rank on the waiting list to facilitate your decisions in case of further applications. The ranking is based on your performance in the test as well as your GPA. The e-mail will not contain your specific results.
If you are accepted, we will ask you to confirm/deny your participation by email.
When will I find out if I am accepted for the SBWL?
For the winter term 2021/22 you will be informed by September 13th, 2021 at the latest.

What happens if I decline the offer to take the SBWL?
If we accept you for the SBWL and you decide not to take it in the upcoming semester, but you would like to take it in the following year, please note that you have to go through the entire application process again - including taking the entry exam.
How many students apply for places at the SBWL?
We currently admit 35 students each semester. Application numbers vary each semester, but on average we receive about three times as many applications, i.e. 100+.
How many places do you offer in our SWBL?

What is the threshold GPA to be accepted?
70% of our SBWL places are assigned based on GPA and 30% are assigned through the entry test results; therefore you can get into our SBWL even with a lower GPA as long as you have sufficient test results.
What do I have to purchase for the SBWL lectures?
We don't require you to buy a textbook, but we strongly recommend you install Stata.
How long does it take to finish the SBWL?
Of those students who completed the SBWL Strategy and Data, about 40% completed it within one semester, 40% within 2 semesters, and 15% within 3 semesters. Only 5% need 4 or more semesters.
