Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Sai is trilingual in English, German and Mandarin. Before joining the Institute for International Business as a Research and Teaching Associate in October 2019, her love and curiosity for working with people from diverse backgrounds led her to live and work in 6 countries and 9 cities across Europe and Asia for multinational corporations and lastly a creative design consulting based in Shanghai.

Sai holds a double degree of Master’s in International Management/CEMS from Vienna University of Economics and Business and London School of Economics. She completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and spent one semester at the University of Liverpool.

Research interest

Sai has a strong research interest in digitalization and how it influences Headquarters-Subsidiary Relationships in Multinational Corporations.
