Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Marius joined the Institute for International Business as a research and teaching associate in January 2018. He is a CEMS graduate from Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Norwegian School of Economics. Before that, Marius earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and spent one semester in South Korea at the Korea University Business School.

During his studies, Marius has gained significant international and practical experience in consulting, the automotive and the transportation industry while working for EY, Daimler AG and Fraport AG. He also completed internships in other lines of business, including one at the Representative of German Industry and Trade in Washington, D.C.

Marius enjoys travel photography, visiting exotic destinations, art installations and tennis.

Research interest

Marius’ research interests lie within the fields of cross-cultural management, purpose-driven leadership, international assignments and their influence on leader behavior and firm performance, international management and the dark side of leadership.
