Alexander Staub wins Kauffman Best Student Paper award.

IfSTO team member Alexander Staub received the "Kauffman Best Student Paper on Information Systems, Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Runner Up" award at the ICIS 2022 in Copenhagen.

For the joint research paper with Tom Grad (CBS) and Prof. Christopher Lettl titled " Heavy Medal - The Consequences of Introducing Symbolic Awards on Contribution Behavior in Online Communities", Alexander Staub received the "Kauffman best Student paper on Information Systems, Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Runner Up" award at the International Conference for Information Systems 2022. The "Kauffman Best Student Paper" award premiers Student research that has direct practical implications and that addresses pressing economic and/or social problems.

ICIS is one of the largest annual academic conferences on Information Systems in the world and the flagship conference of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). The acceptance rate of papers is competitive at 25%, and comes with an A-ranked (VHB) peer-reviewed conference proceedings publication.
