Dr. Maria Fischinger
Maria Fischinger joined the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization in April 2019 as post-doctoral researcher. Within the context of a research project in cooperation with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), she focuses on topics related to the evaluation of open and user innovation. Next to her research activities, she is a business analyst at FFG.
Previously, she worked as research and teaching assistant pre doc at the Institute for Strategy and Managerial Accounting at WU and wrote her dissertation on the topic “The impact of emotions on budget misreporting”. In 2016/17, she was a visiting PhD researcher at Maastricht University. She obtained her master degree in business administration at WU, where she majored in strategy, innovation, and management control. During her studies, she obtained international experience studying at UBC Vancouver and EM Lyon.
