Fulbright - Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe at WU

The Ful­bright-Hall Chair was es­tab­lished by Former U.S. Am­bas­sador to Aus­tria Kath­ryn Hall, shortly after the end of her ten­ure in Vi­enna in 2001.

The Chair, which is among the most gen­er­ous awards avail­able to U.S. schol­ars un­der the aus­pices of the Ful­bright Pro­gram, is designed to ad­dress a broad spec­trum of is­sues re­lated to en­tre­pren­eur­ship, in­clud­ing en­tre­pren­eur­ial strategies; the role of gov­ern­ments or other pub­lic in­sti­tu­tions in fa­cil­it­at­ing in­di­vidual ini­ti­at­ive; re­la­tion­ships between pub­lic, private, and non-­profit sect­ors.

From the 2009-10 aca­demic year, the Ful­bright-Hall Dis­tin­guished Chair has been anchored at the In­sti­tute for En­tre­pren­eur­ship and In­nov­a­tion at the WU Vi­enna Uni­versity of Eco­nom­ics and Busi­ness.

Former Ful­bright-Hall Chair Grantees at the In­sti­tut for En­tre­pren­eur­ship and In­nov­a­tion in­clude lead­ing re­search­ers from vari­ous fields.
