Mag. Vinzenz Treytl
Mag. Vinzenz Treytl is a researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He has joined the E&I Team in 2012.
In research, he is interested in open and user innovation as well as financial technologies. With regards to open and user innovation, his current focus is on the application of crowdsourcing in innovation processes. In the context of financial technologies, he is mainly interested in the disruption of the banking and insurance sectors by new technologies (Distributed Ledger Technology/Blockchain) and by start-ups (Fintechs / InsurTechs).
Before joining the E&I Institute, Vinzenz studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with majors in Entrepreneurship & Innovation as well as Small Business Management. Vinzenz has a professional background in asset management and financial markets where he worked for 10 years. Other interests include small business finance and business angel investments.
