Dr. Kathrin Reinsberger
Kathrin Reinsberger is an Assistant Professor (NTT) at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her research interest lies in the intersection of the fields of innovation, technology, strategy and entrepreneurship. Within this context, she focuses on the question on how to enable organizations to acquire, assess and implement external knowledge to create innovation. Her ongoing research centers on organizational learning and -behavior specifically within the context of crowds, contests and communities.
Before joining the E&I Team, Kathrin received a PhD in Innovation and Technology Management and as well as a bachelor and master’s degree in economics from the University of Graz. Besides, she gained professional experience working as a consultant for the BMW AG and the Austrian Institute of Economic Research Vienna.
Kathrin has been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Business School, New York City in 2018 and the Laboratory of Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH), Boston in 2019. Furthermore she has been appointed a SCANCOR Visiting Scholar to Stanford in spring 2020.
