Fulbright - Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe at WU

The Fulbright-Hall Chair was established by Former U.S. Ambassador to Austria Kathryn Hall, shortly after the end of her tenure in Vienna in 2001.

The Chair, which is among the most generous awards available to U.S. scholars under the auspices of the Fulbright Program, is designed to address a broad spectrum of issues related to entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurial strategies; the role of governments or other public institutions in facilitating individual initiative; relationships between public, private, and non-profit sectors.

From the 2009-10 academic year, the Fulbright-Hall Distinguished Chair has been anchored at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Former Fulbright-Hall Chair Grantees at the Institut for Entrepreneurship and Innovation include leading researchers from various fields.
