Stefan Bachhofner is a PhD candidate in Economics and Social Sciences at the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management. He joined the Data and Knowledge Engineering Team in 2021 and is involved in the Team.AI project (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/957402/de). His PhD thesis will be at the intersection of machine learning and knowledge graphs.
Stefan holds a BSc in Business, Economics, and Social Sciences – with a major in information systems – and a MSc in Information Systems – with a focus on business process management and software engineering, both from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Before this position, he was with the Institute of Remote Sensing (Vienna University of Technology) and with the Research Institute of Computational Methods (Vienna University of Economics and Business). His research interest include machine learning, knowledge graphs, data mining, and software engineering.
