Congrats: Esther Arrenas Arroyo nominated for the 7th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences

30. April 2020

Once every year, around 30-40 Nobel Laureates convene in Lindau to meet the next generation of leading scientists: 600 undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers from all over the world. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures, and disciplines.

Esther Arenas Arroyo (Department of Economics) was nominated for the 7th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences.

During the 7th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences Young economists from around the globe and Laureates in Economic Sciences will gather for in-depth exchange of knowledge and ideas. Together they will discuss current economic matters and recent discoveries in their field.

Due to the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences and the interdisciplinary 70th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, also planned for this summer, were postponed to 2021. The Young Economists will meet Laureates of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel in August 2021. They will also be able to participate in the Online Science Days 2020 and the Online Sciathon this summer.
