The formal award of the Prize takes place at the concluding Gala Dinner on the 9th of April of the Scottish Economic Society’s Annual Conference in Perth. The conference runs between 7th-9th April 2019: happening.eventsair.com/scottish-economic-society-annual-conference-2019.

The Scottish Economic Society instituted in 2017 a Prize for the best paper published in the Scottish Journal of Political Economy (SJPE) in any given year.
