Short Biography

Kathrin Bednar joined the team at the Institute of Management Information Systems as a research assistant in February 2016 and later became a teaching and research associate. Interested in learning from more than one discipline, she studied psychology and philosophy in her bachelor studies, finished psychology as a master's degree programme and enrolled for the interdisciplinary master's degree programme in cognitive science, which she is about to complete. During her studies, Kathrin focused on statistical and neuroscientific research methods and techniques. Her broader research interest is in psychological wellbeing and its philosophical considerations, a challenging topic considering an environment dominated by technology and new media.
