Short Biography

Kathrin Bednar is a rese­arch and teaching asso­ciate at the Insti­tute for Manage­ment Infor­ma­tion Systems at WU Vienna. She has a back­ground in Psycho­logy, Philo­sophy and Cogni­tive Science and has been teaching classes on human-­cen­tered design and sustainable IT. Her general rese­arch inte­rests focus on the impact of tech­no­logy on our lives and psycho­lo­gical well­being, a chal­len­ging topic conside­ring an envi­ron­ment domi­nated by new tech­no­lo­gies and media. Currently, Kathrin is looking into ethical IT design & inno­va­tion and tech­no­logy atti­tudes.
