IEV - Knowledge and Talent Development Programme

The Innovation Economics Vienna Knowledge and Talent Development Programme (IEV) serves the purpose to stimulate high quality research in the field of innovation economics with particular emphasis on PhD work. The programme implemented in October 2008 strengthens the long standing cooperation between the Institute for Economic Geography and GIScience (Department of Socioeconomics, Vienna University of Economics and Business, WU) and the Foresight & Policy Development Department at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). Network partners of the programme include the Federal Ministry for Transportation, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT), Austria Wirtschaftsservice (AWS), Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), Austrian Science Fund (FWF), and Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF).
