The Institute’s teaching activities concentrate primarily on international macroeconomics, international economics and development, and international trade.
The Institute is responsible for coordinating the courses of study in international macroeconomics both for the Bachelor's program and for the expiring academic programs. The Institute for International Economics and Development holds the electives International Trade, and International Economics and Development Economics for the Business Administration, International Business Administration and Business Education degree programs, as well as the specializations International Economics and International Trade and the Interdisciplinary Advanced Subject International Economics and Development for economics students. Institute faculty members also teach courses in basic economics, political economics, the history of economic thought and heterodox economics. Please refer to the online course catalog for more details.
