Tuition Fees Regulations

In Austria, degree-program students and non-degree program students from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain are required to pay tuition fees in the amount of €363.36 per semester (+ €15.86 student association fee). Tuition fees are increased by 10% during the extended enrollment period.

Nationals of the least developed countries as specified in the DAC list are exempt from tuition fees and are only required to pay the Austrian Student Association fee of €15.86 per semester. These countries are as follows: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Democratic Republic), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Laos (People’s Democratic Republic), Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Samoa, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania (United Republic), Timor Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zambia.

Students with the following nationalities (List 1 in the Tuition Fees Regulations of 2004, StubeiV 2004) must pay tuition fees in the amount of €363.36 per semester (+ €15.86 student association fee). Tuition fees are increased by 10% during the extended enrollment period.

List 1 StubeiV 2004

Students with the following nationalities (List 2 in the Tuition Fees Regulations of 2004, StubeiV 2004) must pay tuition fees in the amount of €363.36 per semester (+ €15.86 student association fee), provided that they have been admitted to their studies on the basis of an Austrian secondary school leaving certificate. Tuition fees are increased by 10% during the extended enrollment period.

Nationals of all other countries and nationals of List 2 who have not been admitted on the basis of an Austrian secondary school leaving certificate are required to pay tution fees in the amount of €726.72 (+ €15.86 student association fee) per semester. Tuition fees are increased by 10% during the extended enrollment period.
