The
eLearning platform Learn@WU has become a vital support tool for WU students,
especially during their first year of study. Via the eLearning platform
students can access information about courses, have access to a wealth of
resources and can communicate with fellow students as well as course
instructors. Learn@WU supports the students’ learning process by providing additional
course materials, offering various opportunities to check on their existing
knowledge, be it via statistics pages or interactive learning materials.
During their first year of study, all courses are supplemented by electronic learning environments at Learn@WU. As soon as students have a valid PowerNet account, they can log on to Learn@WU. If students have registered for a course, they get access to these online learning materials via their personalized MyLearn page automatically and can communicate via the course’s communication tools. However, they can also access first year course materials of courses they are not attending at the moment.
