Bridging Courses
Beginning students at WU are expected to have achieved the level of an Austrian secondary school leaving certificate (Matura).
However, sometimes the starting level of new students is not quite as
advanced as required, for whatever reason (e.g. a later start due to
military service or community service). WU offers "Bridging Courses" to
help make up for these differences or to brush up on necessary skills.
Bridging
courses are currently available in mathematics, English, Italian,
French, Spanish, Russian and Czech. Please note that not all subjects
are offered every semester. Available courses for the current semester
can be found in the online course catalog.
Bridging Courses are solely for students enrolled in a WU degree program. Non-degree program students or students from other universities may not participate in these courses.
