Welcome to the Finance
& Accounting homepage. We are a service-oriented unit under Dr. Dr. Regina Prehofer, the Vice-Rector for Financial Affairs. Finance & Accounting supports the
university management (particularly the Vice-Rector for Financial Affairs), all
of WU’s organizational units, and external partners in managing tasks such as financial accounting, payroll accounting and
in matters relating to tax and social law.

- Managing financial transactions and bookkeeping, preparing financial statements
- Bookkeeping for the WU Anniversary Fund and the Vienna Anniversary Fund
- Cash management
- Calculation and payment of WU employee salaries
- Support for the WU Board of Trustees (Kuratorium)
