Academic Controlling

Academic Evaluation is part of Quality Management and Program Delivery (QMPD) and reports to the Vice-Rector, Academic Programs & Student Affairs. It is mainly responsible for quantitative analysis and data evaluation.

Among the responsibilities of Academic Evaluation are performance management, reporting in the area of teaching/studying, and course evaluation. In more detail, its responsibilities include:

  • Generating and analyzing teaching- and student-related data for planning and management purposes
  • Implementing and further developing a standardized teaching and study management information system
  • Monitoring and analyzing the course offerings
  • Assuring the quality of the course catalog and offering support with regard to announcing courses
  • Developing and carrying out analyses of students‘ progress and academic development
