Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate Teaching


There is clear evidence that social science skills – of framing problems in a way which can be rigorously assessed, the assembling of evidence, its analysis and some form of presentation – are highly evaluated by many bodies employing professional staff. Technical skills in demand are an understanding of sampling and survey design, of same basic descriptive and inferential statistics and (increasingly) of Geographical Information Systems.
