Research Activities

The first area is focusing on research issues which explicitly deal with novel theoretical and methodological approaches while the second area is centred on empirical and policy issues, and shows same features of disciplinary streamlining. This does not imply that the Department’s research agenda is narrowing down to a more disciplinary inspired research program. Rather, it highlights the need to embed multidisciplinary research in a strong disciplinary foundation.
