Research

Numerous research projects are currently running at the Institute, and our faculty and staff are very active in many European projects and networks. Institute research concentrates primarily on the following areas:

• Sustainable urban and regional development
• Knowledge economy, innovation and regional development
• Regional business environments (CEE, particularly Centrope)
• Development studies
• Environmental economic assessment
