For admitted students: Bridging Courses

The bridging courses can only be attended by students already admitted to the Master Program in Quantitative Finance.

The bridging courses will be offered in September prior to the program start.

We strongly recommend to attend the Bridging Course Finance and Bridging Course Mathematics. The bridging courses will refresh and deepen your skills and knowledge in the relevant fields and prepare you for the classes of the first semester.

For undergraduate WU-Students: Recommended Elective

The Institute for Statistics and Mathematics offer the elective “Mathematical Methods” for students in a Bachelor Program who are planning to apply for the Master Program in Quantitative Finance.

The purpose of the class is to give an introduction to fundamental mathematical concepts and methods as a preparation for the mathematics lectures held in the Master in Quantitative Finance curriculum.

The elective (10 ECTS, 4 SST) consists of two parts: The first part (5 ECTS, 2 SST) is held in the winter semester, the second part (5 ECTS, 2 SST) follows in the summer semester.

We highly recommend students of WU Bachelor Programs to choose the class if they are planning to apply. The completing of this elective will strengthen your application.
