Eating and drinking

The on-campus restaurant for students is called Mensa, and is located in the Mensa building, right in front of UZA 1's main entrance. It is a cafeteria offering copious menues at reasonable prices.

Close to the WU campus there are a number of different restaurants and cafés, for example:

• Selbstverständlich: typical Austrian food; right opposite WU on Augasse
• The Roast: bagels, coffee, wok dishes; right opposite WU on Augasse
• Al Dente: pizza and pasta; in the basement of The Roast
• Blaustern: a café and restaurant close to the U6 subway station "Nußdorferstraße"
• Anker: bakery; Augasse, in front of the steps to WU's main entrance

Sport and recreation

Universitätssportinstitut Wien (USI) offers a wide range of courses for students at very affordable prices. Please visit their website for further information (some content can be accessed in English).
