Starting in the 2011/12 academic year, a rolling admission policy will apply to the application and selection proceedings for all of WU’s English-taught MSc programs. Rolling admissions means that applications are no longer restricted to pre-determined application periods, but can be submitted over a longer period of several months. The advantage for potential students is the opportunity to apply early and secure a place in the WU program of their choice.
Applications are still submitted using the online
application tool. Students interested in more than one of WU’s
English-taught programs must apply for all programs of interest at the
same time and order their preferences according to first choice, second
choice, etc. Please note that individual program applications may
require different information and documents, and that only complete
applications can be considered for further processing.
Online
application tool (available on September 1, 2011)
Four so-called “priority deadlines” have been set for the 2011/12 application and selection proceedings. Submitted applications are batched and processed according to these priority deadlines. This means that the processing of applications submitted after a particular priority deadline will be delayed until after the next deadline. Please note the following:
Each priority deadline is followed by a processing and selection phase. Applicants are informed of their status after completion of this phase. Students selected for a program will be sent an admission offer. Since admission to WU’s English-taught MSc programs is restricted to one program per applicant, students who have applied for more than one program will be offered a place in the program of their highest preference they are accepted for.
