Social and Economic Sciences 01
The two year doctoral program in Social and Economic Sciences (degree program structure of 2001) is to be discontinued, which means that admission to the program is no longer possible.
Extension of transition period
Students who enrolled in the program before the new degree program structure came into effect in winter semester 2007/08 can remain in the old degree program until 30 September 2017. If you discontinue your studies for one or more semesters, you can only continue them according to the new, 3 year doctoral program.
Structure
The two year doctoral program in Social and Economic Sciences covers 13 weekly hours of coursework; the focus lies on the dissertation.

If you intend to write the examination in research methods of social and economic sciences I or II and there is no exam date announced, please contact the professor who held the course you attended, and make an appointment for the exam.
If you want to take the examination without having attended a course first, please contact Ass.Prof.Dr. Horst REIGER (Research Methods I, Business Administration-track), ao.Univ.Prof. Dr. Dieter GSTACH (Research Methods I, Economics-track) or ao.Univ.Prof. Dr. Manfred LUEGER (Research Methods II).
After arranging the date for the exam with your examiner, you register by dropping the registration form in the silver mailbox next to the doctoral office (2nd floor, sector B).
