"The crisis has shown once more that companies carry responsibility and that those corporations with a sustainable business model have ejoyed an important competitive advantage. A number of corporations have already recognized these signs and enforced their efforts to implement the three pillars of sustainability: the economic, the ecological, and the sociocultural one in their daily business operations. Dealing responsibility with ones suppliers hereby plays an important role. Hence, the establishment of a sustainable supply chain management is a critical success factor. I thus welcome the introduction of a professional and specialized Master's course, in order to increase awareness amongst students and to fister a sustainable mindset among funture business leaders."
