In addition to its legal emphasis, the
Bachelor Program in Business Law is closely related to business and economics. The
program focuses on promoting the students' ability to combine business law
analysis with their knowledge of business administration and economics in problem-solving
processes.
The students' specialized skills are
complemented by the development of:
Objectives
About half of the curriculum is legal subjects, with the other economic sciences named above making up the other half of the program. Phase I of the program (the first year) includes some law courses but is mostly basic business administration, while Phase II (the second and third year of the program) concentrates for the most part on law. |
Career perspectives
Because the program is still relatively new, no employment statistics are available yet, but graduates of the Business Law program will most likely be welcome additions to the legal departments of large companies, the staff of CEOs, the strategy and planning divisions of mid-size companies and to tax consultancies and accountancy firms. The shorter duration of the program (three years) as compared to earlier degree programs allows graduates a more rapid start in their chosen career. |
