Connect is a browser-based communication tool that allows up to 15 people (including the host) to broadcast live video, have online meetings and discussions or share and review meeting notes whenever you want.
Getting access to Connect
If you are part of WU’s faculty or staff and want to use Connect for videoconferencing, please send an email to connect@wu.ac.at. In the message you should indicate your account name and that you want us to create a meeting room for you on the Connect server. You will be notified by email as soon as you have been assigned a meeting room and your account has been enabled to use Connect. The email will also contain some basic information and the link to the Control Panel, which provides access to your meeting room.

Please make sure your system meets the basic hardware and software requirements for using Connect.

You can download a user manual provided by Adobe (39 pages, PDF format) as well as a brief manual written specifically for WU users (20 pages, Word document).
Further information
Please note that WU Connect is still in the testing stage.
Since IT Services is using WU Connect with a concurrent user license model that limits the amount of people who can use the system simultaneously at a given time, we would like to ask you to notify us by email at connect@wu.ac.at if you are planning to host meetings with 8 or more participants and specify date and time of the planned meeting.
