IT Security
More and more students and staff are using the resources IT Services offers at WU. The resulting need for available information systems as well as the globally increasing number of attempts to invade and disrupt electronic resources make it necessary to implement a general set of rules on information security and information system protection.
At the same time, technical and organizational measures are continuously adapted to ensure the confidentiality, availability, integrity and authenticity of our databases and information systems.
The IT Department (ZID) was renamed IT Services by resolution of the University Board on December 12, 2008. The policies pertaining to the IT Department remain valid for IT Services.
