Annual Study Abroad Fair of the International Office (IO)

On October 24th the GO GLOBAL Study Abroad Fair took place in WU's main entrance hall. Students
who would like to spend a semester abroad will be spoilt for choice:
over 220 partner universities on 6 continents offer exchange programs. The
annual Study Abroad Fair of the International Office (IO) offers
answers to these questions as well as accounts of former exchange
students. |
WU students who plan to spend a semester abroad have the unique opportunity to meet with former outgoing and incoming students and get helpful information and advice from them.
At information counters, the former exchange students will answer questions and tell visitors about the highlights of their time abroad. Apart from these students and the IO, representatives of the WU’s student council ÖH WU, the study program JOSZEF, the Master of International Management program CEMS, the WU’s Study Regulations Office, the Austrian agency for international mobility and cooperation in education, science and research OeAD, the national agency Lifelong Learning and the scholarship administration body Stipendienstelle Wien will be present.
The broad offer of information aims at inviting as many students as possible to come together in the WU entrance hall to talk about open issues and especially get a feeling for what it would be like to study abroad. No doubt this event will help some students to finally make up their minds to go abroad.
