The Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS) is an EU mobility program based on a network system that promotes student and teacher exchanges throughout Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
Partner universities and networks
Various networks cooperate and communicate with each other in order to arrange/negotiate optimal conditions for the program`s participants. WU coordinates one of the largest networks within CEEPUS - the AMADEUS network. 2008 the AMADEUS network was awarded the CEEPUS Ministers´ Prize for Excellence.
The network`s main/most important/significant success is the expansion in Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe, and its contribution to the integration of CEE and South-Eastern European universities into the academic community. Over the past 14 years, over 300 students and more than 100 faculty members have participated in student, research or teacher exchanges with partner universities within the network. One of the network´s main/key objectives is to encourage mobility among the Eastern European partner institutions, which is just as important as the mobility between East and West and which is necessary for the network to continue being successful.
Our partners in the CEEPUS network are:
Furthermore WU is a partner institution in another CEEPUS network - the REDENE network, which is coordinated by the Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.
