The Economic Meta Search Engine was started by Martin Zagler in 2000. Its ambition was to search sites with economic content and rank them using impact factors. After an initial success, work on the engine as originally conceived was stopped for several years due. Now, thanks to Google Custom Search, the project could be easily realized and completed. I hope it serves the economic community well.
