Since November 2009 Alexander is a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for International Business. He studied Business and Administration at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) with the majors international management, strategic management, and communication studies. During his year abroad he graduated at University of Hull (UK), receiving the Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
During his studies he gained professional experience through internships and as a working student at Axel Springer or the Siemens AG, as well as a student assistant at the chair for international management of Prof. Holtbrügge in Nuremberg. He also worked as music director and free lancer for two radio stations in New York. From 2004 - 2009 he was managing director of an event company in Nuremberg.
At the
Institute Alexander is responsible for the online appearance of IIB and the legendary IIB Get-Together.
His research is focused on contingencies between TCE predictors and strategic moves in internationalization.
