Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Stefan is a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for International Business. After he successfully completed an apprenticeship in banking at Dresdner Bank AG he studied Business and Administration at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) with the majors international management, strategic management, and communication studies.

During his studies he gained professional experience through internships and as a working student in banking and an advertising agency. He also worked as a student assistant at the Chair for International Management (Prof. Holtbrügge) for two years. Stefan enlarged his international horizon as a scholarship holder of the Syrian Arab Republic and learned the Arab language for eight months.

Research Interest

His research is focused on firm internationalization in highly uncertain environments, stakeholdermanagement, and political strategies.
