Position at IIB, other positions and academic career

Since October 2011 Gregor Binder has been working as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for International Business. He studied the Master’s program International Management/CEMS at the WU Vienna during which he spent a semester abroad at the University of Cologne, Germany. Before that Gregor earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with specializations in strategic management & management control and finance from WU Vienna.

Gregor gained professional experience in the banking and consulting industry working with firms such as Erste Group Bank AG, Commerzbank AG, as well as various consulting firms. Moreover, he acquired substantial insights in the legal sector.

Apart from that he enjoys doing sports including football, tennis, and running.

Research Interest

His research interests are focused on strategic management, networks and strategic alliances, financial aspects and funding issues in international business as well as market entry with special emphasis on capital markets.
