  • Studium der Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Graz.

  • 1996/97 Gerichtsjahr und Rechtsanwaltsanwärter.

  • 1998 Promotion (Dr. iur.)

  • 1998/99 postgraduales Studium im Europarecht und im internationalen Wirtschaftsrecht an den Universitäten Genf und Lausanne, am Graduate Institute of International Studies (Genf, IUHEI) und am Schweizerischen Institut für Rechtsvergleichung.

  • 1999-2007: Assistent im Bereich Rechtswissenschaft des Europainstituts
