Join the WU Community!

The WU Alumni Club was founded in the spring of 1995, in the tradition of Anglo-American universities. The WU Alumni Club is an important contact point between WU and its graduates.

With close to 5000 members and some 70 events held each year, the WU Alumni Club has established itself as one of the leading alumni associations in the German-speaking world. Talks on research and practice-related issues, and numerous athletic, cultural and social events encourage casual networking among the Club’s members. The WU Alumni Club offers its members the opportunity to get and stay in touch with colleagues, employers and potential business partners. The annual WU Alumni Club Party, attended by around 1000 guests, is always one of the highlights of the year.

In addition, the WU Alumni Club publishes the quarterly newsletter WU Alumni News, keeping graduates of WU and the former University of World Trade informed about current developments in research and teaching at their alma mater. The newsletter is sent out four times a year to around 32,000 alumni.
