Trainee Program

All new faculty and staff members at WU are required to participate in the Trainee Program, which consists of workshops on important core competences (e.g. for academic staff research and teaching skills, or communication and self-management skills for administrative staff) and informational events about WU and its organization and strategies.

Currently, the Trainee Program is held only in German, which is why detailed information on the program is only available on our German web site.

For new faculty and staff members who don’t speak German, we can put together an individual program of courses and workshops taken from the in-house training catalog. This way, non-German speakers also have the opportunity to meet and network with WU colleagues, particularly in the initial phase of their time at WU.
