Conference participation

WU faculty members who take part in conferences and congresses can apply for financial support in the form of reimbursement for foreign language services and travel allowances.

High Potential Contact Weeks & WU Visiting Fellow

The Rector’s Council initiated the programs High Potential Contact Weeks and the WU Visiting Fellow in 2005. These programs give researchers the opportunity to enrich their careers by going on research sabbaticals at renowned universities around the world.

Mobility grants for doctoral candidates

This mobility grant is available to selected doctoral and PhD students at WU. The Doctoral Office, a section of the Examinations Office, awards these grants in the form of flexible-term allowances for travel expenses.

ERASMUS and CEEPUS faculty mobility programs

As a WU faculty member, you can discover the Central and Eastern European region with CEEPUS or apply for an ERASMUS grant to teach in another EU country.

Academic Advisors

Aside from the International Office, Academic Advisors are the most important intermediaries between WU and its over 200 partner universities around the world.
